Portfolio
I have been involved in the web development, SEO, wireframing, design, content collation, etc. of a majority of projects highlighted on the portfolio page of CCSEO.com.
For details on my specific work and involvement on any of the projects found on the CCSEO portfolio page, please email me or contact Cecily at CCSEO.
Other Projects:
My brother Dan owns A-1 Carpet Care in Kingsland, GA. As a local business owner, Dan became aware of the growing importance of search traffic in connecting with customers, so he commisioned me to build him a simple website.
Emphasis was put on quickly and inexpensively piecing together a portrait of the business and services offered. Having a website has helped Dan build brand awareness in Camden County, as well as legitimacy and exposure.
The A-1 Website was build using a design by Andy Martinolich and a locally targeted SEO strategy. I also have helped Dan promote the site by establishing a variety of local business listings and setting up a geographically targeted AdWords campaign.
Sue Walker initially contacted me to help her transfer her domain registration and web hosting account away from an expensive host, and to possibly improve her website.
After transfering hosting services to a cheaper alternative, Sue and I came up with a website plan that included a search friendly framework; the end result was a simple multi-page website to help Sue describe her processes and services.
WellnessWithinUs.com was built to Sue's specifications and with her design ideas, and now helps Sue build credibility and exposure, and connect to potential clients through local search.
Utilizing the WordPress platform to implement a simple e-commerce store, Laffinstone Jewelry showcases the unique handmade jewelry created by my mother, Kathy Udy.
I developed this simple CMS-driven website as an online venue to sell her variety of jewelry products. With a few customizations to a basic template and a customized masthead, she is now able to easily provide jewelry to customers outside of her normal sales area.
Digital Beggar is a side project I pursued in partnership with Andy Martinolich. Using Andy's artistic talent for the design and a paypal donate link, we created this site to pan-handle our visitors.
This project is an experiment in promoting novel website ideas through social bookmarking and social search (StumbleUpon, etc.). While receiving a lot of praise and appreciation of the humor behind the project, we unfortunately haven't seen much in the way of monetary donations, but we continue to experiment with the site and it's promotion.
